Tactical Handgun Operator
This is a basic tactical handgun operator shooting course. This course is designed for patrolman, detectives, school resource officer and SWAT operators. This is a demanding shooting course that will challenge the student on CQB shooting situations. There will be numerous drills that will have the student to work on quick target acquisition, recoil, trigger manipulation, and trigger control, sight alignment, firing on the move, gas mask shooting drills, defensive tactics on weapon retention and many other courses of fire. This is not a precision shooting course or distance shooting. The officer will be dealing with threats at CQB distance and single / double arms intervals in which we call in the hole. Operator
The main purpose of this course is to take the student to a higher level by the time the course is over. This shooting course will force the student to take themselves to a higher level and to build the confidence of his/her ability to win a gun fight once encountered with the use of deadly force encounter. This is a three day course for a total of 24 hours. Operator

Tactical Rifle Operator
The tactical rifle course is a 3 day course designed to assist the operator in shooting the rifle on a tactical level. This course contributes intense training to build the confidence of the operator. This is a challenging course that consists of reloading, unloading, loading, shooting from various distances, precision shooting, combat shooting and many drills to allow the operator to get acclimated to tactical shooting. This course is also designed to assist operators in room clearing with a long gun and defensive tactics with a long gun. Listed below is the equipment list.
Tactical rifle equipment list:
- Duty rifle, sling, minimum of 3 magazines , submachine guns 3 magazines
- Duty handgun, magazines and web gear
- Ballistic vest – soft body armor or tactical vest

Dignitary Protection
This is a 32 hour course that will cover every increment of tactics while providing protection for your dignitary. The officer will be challenged with a variety of detail formations, driving techniques during assaults, tactical shooting with handguns, long guns, submachine guns, and defensive tactics and weapon retention techniques during encounters.
This is a course that will build the discipline and provide an understanding of how to work a detail during a dignitary assignment. This is a team building and demanding course. Everyone must work as a team to accomplish the primary mission. Equipment needed is listed below.
- Duty weapons – handgun and rifle/submachine gun if available
- Duty holster with magazines
- Rifle magazines / submachine gun magazines
- Dress code attire for day 1 and day 4 will be suit or coat and tie
- Dress code for day 2 (range gear for all day range evolutions)
- Eye protection, ear protection, ball cap, vest
- Handgun ammo – 200 rounds
- Rifle/submachine gun ammo – 100 rounds
- Outline will be delivered day 1 of class or printed off college website (outline is mandatory).

Tactical Mindset
Tactical Mindset is an intense course that will challenge the officers. This course is designed for the patrolman, detective, school resource officer and SWAT operator. Officers will be challenged through lecture, discussions, and video footage of fellow officers that has been involved in a shooting. This will be classroom and class participation will be requested.
This course will explore the officers mentally and physically. Tactical mindset will assist the officers in preparation for that deadly encounter. It is also designed to open the mindset to understanding the obstacles that will be encountered after the shooting. This course will provide ideas and things that need to be in place and already shared to love ones in the officer’s life when this day comes.
This course will also assist the officers in preparing for supporting their fellow officer and family after a deadly encounter or just a use of deadly force encounter. The course will allow officers to face reality and challenge themselves as for getting ready mentally and physically. It will get deep into the psychological and physiological aspects of a shooting.
At the end of this block of instruction every student will take something back home and also leave with a stronger commitment to be more dedicated, motivated, obligated and determine to be ready for the fight when it shows up.

Tactical Ballistic Shield Operator
Ballistic Shield Operator- This course is designed to assist the operator in handling the ballistic shield in different situations. The operator will be able to shoot from behind the shield in an aggressive manner. Conduct a reload with and without the gas mask. The operator will also unload, shoot on the move, conduct down officer rescues, and operate the shield while conducting dynamic / static room clears.
The operator will conduct entries dry and live fire exercises in 2 man and 3 man evolutions with and without the gas mask. There will be additional drills to get each operator acclimated to the shield in many ways. This is a physical demanding course that will require a great deal of focus physically and mentally.

Vehicle Assaults / Rescues
This course prepares the operator for approaching vehicles and gaining full control of the vehicle prior to extracting anyone out. This is an intense course and advanced due to the discipline of each operator, this is expected during every evolution. The operator is trained on sitting up in several positions around the vehicle. The operator will be able to operate from each position during dry and live fire evolutions. Emphasizes is placed on the angles of fire into the vehicle from a stationary position and shooting out of the vehicle through the windshield. The operators will use the gas mask, NFDD’S (FLASH BANGS), breeching tools, live fire shooting into the vehicle while in a gas contaminated environment. There are several other practical exercises that will be covered during the block of instructions. This training is not to take the place of felony stops and any other technique used to control vehicles and occupants inside of the vehicle. This is only another option with superior man power and fire power.

Bus Assault / Rescues
This course is designed to assist the operators on how to gather specific intelligence on a bus during a critical incident. It prepares the operator on many options in reference to shutting the bus down, breeching windows, breeching doors, and approaches from many angles. Boarding the target during an assault and many techniques on securing occupants on the bus along with a variety of responsibilities from team members.
This is an intense two day course that will make the operator think and work in a team concept. This is not a course where you will just run on the bus screaming with your hair on fire. We will cover many techniques on conducting a rescue under control with sufficient man power. A great deal of focus will be placed on safety, speed and element of surprise. SIMS will also be implemented into this training during scenarios. In order to know that it works it must be tested.
This is a basic course but a great course for understanding the basic fundamental of bus assault/rescues. Each operator will be tested both physical and mentally during this course.

Advanced S.W.A.T. Operator
Advanced S.W.A.T. Operator is a challenging course that will force the operators to push each other during each evolution. Operators will be tested during scenarios day and night operations. Vehicle evolutions for vehicle assaults and shooting from the inside of a vehicle drills at threats on the outside of the vehicle will be conducted. Each operator will be drilled on handgun, shotgun, rifle and sub-gun evolutions. This course is physically demanding to test the mental and physical limits of the operators. Advanced Sub-Machine Operator
This course is designed to assist the sub-gun operator in becoming acclimated to operating the automatic weapon under abnormal conditions. This is an intense course for 40 hours in three days. The operator will perform during gas mask shooting, dynamic room clearing, defensive tactics, and fully automatic trigger control, down man rescues, support side shooting, multiple moving shooting drills, and several other evolutions during this course. There will also be gas shooting evolutions in a contaminated gas environment. This is a physical and mentally demanding course designed to build the operator confidence to operate this weapon under stress while making good decisions.

Basic Sub-Machine Gun Operator
Basic Sub-Machine Gun Operator is a 4 day course of nothing but the basic techniques, fundamentals, nomenclature and proper way to manipulate the weapon parts. This course allows the operator to spend enough time with the weapon to become familiar to firing the weapons accurately in all modes. Time is also spent on loading, unloading and reloading the weapon during numerous drills. This course covers the HK fully auto family and assist operators with other fully auto weapons such as the colt family, Sig family and other SBR fully auto weapons. This course is designed to build the operators mind set and train the operator to become proficient, aggressive, and accurate with the weapons.
This is a 40 hours course in 4 days. This is a very demanding course with a great deal of intensity during various evolutions. This course will be challenging with time evolutions and a qualification course. The qualification score of an 80% and a passing score on a written exam of 70% is required to pass this course.

Basic S.W.A.T. Operator
This is the Basic S.W.A.T. course that will cover every area of tactics for a basic operator. This will be an intense course that will be physically and mentally demanding. Some of the tactical areas that will be covered is an overview of S.W.A.T., physical fitness for the S.W.A.T. operator, tactical dynamic and static room clearing, S.C.A.T. with and without weapons, tactical firearms (handgun, rifles, submachine gun, shotgun), ballistic shields, down man rescue, entry drills, dry/live fire vehicle takedowns, legal issue for the S.W.A.T. operator, SWAT callouts during night operations dry/live fire evolutions and several more intense block of instructions.
Equipment needed:
- If available duty rifle, submachine gun
- Gas mask mandatory with filter
- Tactical entry and protective kit including helmet (TACTICAL GEAR)
- If available elbow and knee pads
- 1 of each – smoke, gas CN or CS, flash bang if available from each team
- Ammo – handgun – 400 rounds
- Ammo – submachine gun -300 rounds
- Ammo – shotgun -25 slugs / 25 00 bucks
- Flashlight / secondary light
- Eye, hearing protection is mandatory
- Ballistic vest or tactical vest is mandatory
- Recommend gloves, boots, baseball style hat, BDU style pants
- Outlines are mandatory- will be handed out in classroom.

Physical Fitness Training For Swat Operators
This course is designed for SWAT operators, patrolman, detectives and anyone in law enforcement that want a challenge. Training will be provided by fitness instructors who will work out along with the operators. Instructors will work with individual operators to design and implement a physical fitness training program to meet the physical demands expected of them as an individual or specified unit. This course will include classroom lecture, fitness assessments, and several different types of exercise sessions to include a weight room program and swimming program. This training will also prepare officers physically and mentally for POPAT (Police Officer Physical Ability test) and most job task related testing as well.
This class builds the officer confidence through working on the discipline aspect, motivation and having the determination and dedication to maintain a workout on day to day bases. By setting short term goals and long term goals any officer can reach his or her full potential.
